Meta Platform Messaging Services
As part of our social media management services, Maxme Group operates AI-powered chatbots on behalf of client businesses. These chatbots communicate with end-users via Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct Messages using the Meta Messenger Platform, including the pages_messaging and instagram_manage_messages permissions.
Data collected: When a user sends a message to a connected client page, we may process the sender's profile ID, display name, message text, any image attachments, and the message timestamp.
How it is used: Message data is used solely to generate an AI reply on behalf of the client business page, maintain conversation context within an active session, and route conversations to a human agent when required. We do not use message data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose inconsistent with Meta's Platform Terms.
Retention: Conversation threads are retained for up to 90 days to allow the page owner to review chatbot performance, after which they are automatically deleted. Page owners may request immediate deletion by contacting us.
Sub-processors: Message text is sent to Anthropic (our AI provider) for response generation. Anthropic's privacy policy applies: anthropic.com/privacy. Message data is not shared with any other third party.
Meta compliance: Our use of the Meta Messenger Platform complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. Message data is used only to provide the messaging feature requested by each client.
